Job summary

Nemours is seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist (Casual/PRN) to join our pediatric imaging team in Orlando, FL. You will perform CT and diagnostic X-ray exams for patients from infants to young adults, focusing on safety, quality, and patient experience in a collaborative environment.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration (CT preferred or within 18 months), Florida license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required from an accredited Radiology program.
• Minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year experience required.
• ARRT Registered required upon hire. (CT preferred or must be obtained within 18 months).
• State of Florida Radiology Technologist License required upon hire.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required upon hire.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and diagnostic X-ray examinations in a fast-paced pediatric setting.
• Operate radiology equipment safely and correctly under physician guidance.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and families to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Prepare patients, position them properly, and ensure optimal image quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and maintain patient safety.
