Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. seeks an experienced CT technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans and ensure high-quality examinations in line with standards and licensing requirements.

The role includes supporting imaging student training, delivering CT safety lectures, participating in new procedures, and maintaining equipment while coordinating with the Radiology Manager. This is a part-time position with shift variability.

Qualifications

• Must have JRCERT approved radiologic program
• Current Arizona MRTBE license
• Current ARRT CT registration (Must obtain within 1 year)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
• 1 year radiology experience
• 1 year pediatric imaging experience

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic computerized tomography scanning procedures and exams.
• Deters improper techniques and positioning to ensure quality results.
• Maintains equipment and reports malfunctions per instructions.
• Participates in training imaging students and safety lectures for staff.
• Archives records per radiologist specifications and completes charge capture in RIS.
• Contributes to quality improvement initiatives and procedure development.
