Job summary

University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks candidates for Assistant Professor in the non-tenure academic clinician track with a specialty in Critical Care Medicine and a focus on Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent, have ABP certification or eligibility, PA licensure, and fellowship completion in PCCM.

Teaching responsibilities include formal didactic lectures and informal teaching of students, residents, fellows, and other health care

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required.
• ABP certification or board eligibility in PCCM required.
• Pennsylvania licensure and completion of fellowship in PCCM required.

Responsibilities

• Teach in formal didactic lectures and with residents, fellows, and medical students in the Pediatric ICU.
• Attend and participate in rounds, conferences, and multidisciplinary activities.
• Provide clinical care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Philadelphia and/or King of Prussia campuses; may include Progressive Care Unit.
