Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN license and APRN certification.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois practice requires Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice prior to or within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies and prescribe therapies.
• Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and disease management education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and refer as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation for compliant coding and billing.
• Facilitate coordinated care and clear communication among healthcare team and agencies.
• Perform office or hospital procedures per privileges where applicable.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
