Job summary

WVU Health System in Morgantown, WV seeks a General/Complex Care Pediatrician at Assistant/Associate/Professor ranks. The candidate will join a growing program that provides a patient/family centered medical home for medically complex pediatric patients.

Responsibilities include teaching, clinical care, and research within a statewide telemedicine-enabled network. The position emphasizes leadership, teaching of students and residents, and the development of an extramurally funded research

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license
• Completed an accredited pediatric residency program at time of appointment
• For Associate Professor/Professor rank, leadership track record and publications required
• Candidates should sustain an extramurally supported research program for higher rank

Responsibilities

• Practice in Morgantown, WV as part of the General/Complex Care Pediatric program
• Provide primary care and consultative coordination of care for medically complex pediatric and adolescent patients
• Teach medical students, residents and interprofessional learners in clinic, bedside and via STEPS Simulation Center
• Engage in research and scholarly activity to support program growth and quality of life improvements
