Pediatric Medical Daycare of Hollywood in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide to join our team and provide high-quality care to our pediatric patients. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, help with medication administration as directed, educate families, and collaborate with clinicians to coordinate care.

Light housekeeping and supportive duties are part of the role.

Qualifications

• CNA or HCA certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
• Ability to follow care plans and medication schedules
• Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility

Introduction:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
• Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate staff member
• Communicate with patients and families to provide education and support
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aid certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules
• Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility, as needed
