Job summary

Pediatric Health Choice in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our care team in a family-centered environment. The position involves assisting with routine child care, data collection, and collaboration with the nursing staff to ensure high-quality pediatric care.

Flexible hours, full-time (30+ hours/week), and a supportive team are offered, with a focus on compassionate, individualized care for medically fragile children.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited vocational school for Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Valid Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Completion of pediatric basic life support certification course; current CPR card.
• Minimum one year experience in the care of infants, toddlers and children.

Responsibilities

• Assists nursing team in the delivery of routine child care activities.
• Performs clinical skills according to established standards of care; assists nurse with treatments/procedures as requested.
• Participates in data collection (VSS, BP, weights, specimens).
• Records clinical findings, patient information, interventions, and responses in designated records.
