Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Nassau, NY is seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to provide evaluations and ongoing services for children with special needs. The role offers a flexible schedule across home, school, and clinic settings, with a collaborative team and supportive supervision.

Responsibilities include administering evaluations, developing social histories and reports, and contributing to IFSP/IEP goals. Travel to cases is required and HIPAA compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS Clinical Psychologist required.
• Experience evaluating children in home/school settings preferred.
• Fluency in languages other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer psychological evaluations in home and school settings.
• Gather information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
• Write IFSP and/or IEP goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and regulations.
