Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and Tennessee licensure.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology is required.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.
• Experience in clinical pathology and transfusion medicine is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical pathology services in a patient-centric fashion per standards and policies.
• Participates in credentialing, verification, and test-method development as needed.
• Collaborates with clinicians for patient-care decisions and reports to providers.
• Teaches and mentors Pathology residents, fellows, and staff; participates in research.
