Job summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando, FL is seeking a Manager of Clinical Nutrition to lead inpatient and outpatient nutrition services and implement department-wide strategic goals.

Candidates must hold a CADE-approved bachelor's degree, be registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and be licensed as a Florida Dietitian; five years of related experience with two in leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics (CADED-accredited program)
• Registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
• Florida licensure as a Dietitian
• Five (5) years of related experience, including 2 years in a leadership role, with a Master’s degree potentially substituting up to 2 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Leads the department and facilitates collaborative implementation of department, facility and organizational action plans.
• Monitors nutritional evaluation and treatment to ensure quality and cost-effective services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Oversees the dietary office at multiple facilities.
• Manages business aspects including operating budgets and expense trends.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, legislative, and educational standards in clinical nutrition.
• Builds relationships with management to achieve facility and system goals.
• Assists with development of department policies and procedures.
• Manages hiring, assignments, coaching plans and disciplinary actions.
