Job summary

MercyOne Grimes Pediatrics Care is seeking a Clinic RN to provide comprehensive outpatient patient care, coordinate across care teams, and educate patients and families. The role requires an Iowa RN license and BLS, with the clinic operating on a 40-hour workweek in a day shift (7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

As part of MercyOne, you will uphold the mission and collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to deliver safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa; compact state license acceptable where applicable.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, MS Office).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience coordinating patient care in outpatient settings (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings and ensure safe, evidence-based care.
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and support patient education.
• Maintain EMR documentation, vitals, assessments, and treatments.
• Assist providers with scheduling, referrals, and outpatient procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
