Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as ambulatory care supervisor for pediatric practices at our South University Clinic in Fargo and The Lights Clinic in West Fargo, ND. The role is salaried, 8 am–5 pm, three days weekly, with shared supervision duties and limited weekends/holidays.

The position requires BSN or ADN and ND RN licensure, with Minnesota RN license needed within 3 months. BCLS within 3 months and 2 years in ambulatory care or community health with leadership

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
• Minnesota RN license required within 3 months of hire.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• 2 years' nursing experience in related specialty, ambulatory setting; or community health with demonstrated leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of multiple departments and sites, staffing and implementing workflows.
• Provide direct nursing leadership, staff development, patient care and advocacy.
• Support quality improvement efforts to ensure high-quality care and service.
• Be available for RN duties as needed and respond to interventions and education.
