Job summary

University Hospitals in Cleveland is seeking an experienced LPN to support cystic fibrosis pediatric patients on the Main Campus. You will provide age-specific nursing care, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited practical nurse program or is currently in a nursing program, an Ohio license, and BLS certification. Travel is limited to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years nursing experience (Level II)
• LPN scope of practice per Ohio board (required)
• Uses a variety of clinical equipment (stethoscope, thermometer, sphygmomanometer)
• Includes required leadership and peer review activities for Level II

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific nursing care using the nursing process.
• Complete and submit required documentation.
• Deliver relationship-based nursing care.
• Demonstrate safe practice and positive care outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate to optimize patient care.
• Develop professionally and contribute to nursing practice.
• Demonstrate leadership to influence clinical outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain PHI compliance and UH policies during work.
