Job summary

CareGivers America in Scranton is hiring a Pediatric Caregiver to provide 1:1 supervision and daily living support in the child’s home. No experience needed as training and certification are provided to help you become a Home Health Aide (HHA).

Work involves traveling to clients' homes in Lackawanna County, supporting IEPs/BIPs, and helping children develop daily living skills with structured activities and safety-focused routines.

Qualifications

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or CNA certificate preferred.
• Willingness to travel within Lackawanna County area.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support to children in a safe, in-home setting.
• Assist with daily living skills, including hygiene, meals, and routine care as needed.
• Implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BIPs).
• Facilitate structured, age-appropriate activities that promote skill development.
• Support positive behavior strategies and maintain a consistent, safe environment.
