Job summary

Dayton Children's Main Campus is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant to support the Cardiology - EKG team. You will assist with patient care activities, document vital signs, and help with daily living tasks, while maintaining patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications include an HS/GED, PCA training or enrollment in a health care program, and 1–2 years STNA experience preferred. CPR is preferred at hire and must be obtained within two weeks after starting.

Qualifications

• PCA training or experience or enrollment in a health care program is required.
• 1–2 years STNA hospital experience preferred.
• CPR preferred at hire, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start.

Responsibilities

• Assists nurse with patient care activities, considering developmental level.
• Records vital signs, intake/output, and assists with activities of daily living.
• Maintains confidentiality and privacy of patient information; safe transportation and environment.
