Job summary

OU Health in Oklahoma seeks an Advanced Practice Provider for Pediatric Cardiology Inpatient (Stepdown CV). The APP will perform histories, exams, order tests, and develop care plans within a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, collaboration with physicians and nurses, and participation in education, research and quality initiatives. BLS certification and prescriptive authority within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing if APRN, MSN or Master’s in Physician Assistant Services.
• No clinical experience required beyond licensure prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical assessments, orders diagnostics and interprets results.
• Develops, implements, evaluates and adjusts care plans; documents in EMR.
• Provides patient- and family-centered care and coordinates with the health care team.
