Job summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia invites a Pediatric Cardiologist with an imaging focus to join The Heart Center.

You will perform inpatient and outpatient evaluations and testing, including ECGs, echocardiograms, ambulatory ECGs, and exercise stress testing in infants, children and adolescents. The role includes directing the cardiac CT/MR service for pediatric and adult congenital patients, sharing inpatient consults, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties, with

Qualifications

• Board certified / board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Advanced training in pediatric/adult congenital cross sectional imaging.
• Preference for experience with advanced cardiac imaging (MRI/CT).

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology evaluations and testing, including ECG interpretation, echocardiography, ambulatory ECG, and exercise stress testing in infants, children and adolescents.
• Direct the cardiac CT/MR service for pediatric and adult congenital heart disease patients.
• Share inpatient consultative service as well as outpatient clinic and on-call responsibilities with other members of the Division.
• Participate in the fetal echocardiography center.
• Participate in teaching of medical students, residents, and adult cardiology fellows.
• Utilize state-of-the-art imaging facilities and labs in daily practice.
