Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health's Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital in Hackensack, NJ seeks a Pediatric Cardiologist to join a collaborative, academic division delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care from newborns to young adults.

You will work with a renowned team, secure a faculty appointment with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, engage in teaching and clinical research, and contribute to a culture of quality, innovation, and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from a recognized medical school.
• Board certification in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Must hold or be eligible for an active medical license in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Clinical Excellence: Deliver expert inpatient and outpatient consultations, perform and interpret a full range of diagnostic procedures, and ensure continuity of care through a shared on-call rotation and services at affiliated medical centers.
• Collaborative Patient Coverage: Ensure seamless, high-quality care for our community by participating in a shared on-call rotation and providing expert consultative services at affiliated medical centers.
• Strategic Program Growth: Collaborate directly with the Division Chief on strategic planning initiatives designed to foster the long-term growth and success of the Pediatric Cardiology service line.

Education

Active medical license in New Jersey
