Job summary

Tufts Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer - Per Diem responsible for performing cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients. Ideal candidates will have 4 years of experience, an associate degree, and certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. This role emphasizes pediatric echocardiography and requires adherence to radiological standards.

Applicants should have strong knowledge of cardiac physiology and a commitment to quality health care in a pediatric outpatient clinic environment. Responsibilities also include training staff and ensuring safety protocols are met.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist.
• Basic Life Support Certification.
• Pediatric experience; preferably fetal scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform cardiac ultrasound procedures on patients as assigned.
• Provide clear and accurate instructions to patients.
• Ensure patient and staff safety for equipment used.
• Train and educate students and/or technologists on proper procedures.

Associate degree in Radiology or related field
