Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine specialist to join our team in the expanded PICU. You will care for critically ill children in a state-of-the-art 45-bed unit, including a 9-bed cardiac critical care area, collaborating with intensivists and APPs.

Requirements include an MD or DO, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, and fellowship training in cardiac ICU, with the ability to obtain an Ohio license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree in Pediatrics Critical Care Medicine.
• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Fellowship training in cardiac intensive care medicine.
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric critical care in a high-acuity PICU setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists and APPs.
• Contribute to teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain board certification and state license requirements.
