Job summary

A prominent pediatric healthcare provider in Fort Worth, Texas seeks a full-time pediatric cardiac intensivist to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in pediatric critical care or pediatric cardiology, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include providing coverage in a 14-bed dedicated cardiac intensive care unit, performing complex ICU procedures, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Must possess full component of ICU skills including vent management and ECMO.
• 3-5 years experience in Pediatric Critical Care or Cardiology preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary team caring for children with congenital heart disease.
• Provide full-time coverage for the cardiac intensive care unit.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other specialists.

Skills

Board certified in pediatric critical care

Clinical experience in cardiac critical care

Interpersonal skills

ICU skills (vent management, ECMO, etc.)

Education

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)

Completed ACGME or AMA approved pediatric residency

Pediatric subspecialty training in cardiac critical care
