Job summary

Akron Children's seeks a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine physician to join a high‑level PICU caring for cardiothoracic and ECMO patients. The role offers collaboration with intensivists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers in a 45‑bed PICU with a focus on family‑centered care.

The candidate must hold an MD/DO with PCCM board certification or eligibility, plus fellowship training in cardiac ICU and Ohio licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required with pediatric critical care training.
• Board eligible/certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Fellowship training in cardiac intensive care medicine.
• Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in a busy pediatric ICU, including cardiothoracic and ECMO patients.
• Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and APs to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
• Participate in research initiatives and continuous professional development.
