Job summary

Inova Health System’s Inova Children’s Hospital in Falls Church, VA seeks an Associate Medical Director for the PCICU. You will lead clinical practice, mentor physicians, and cultivate accountability and continuous improvement, while dividing time between clinical duties (0.8 FTE) and administrative leadership (0.2 FTE).

Qualifications

Board certification/eligibility in pediatric critical care medicine or pediatric cardiology with fellowship in pediatric cardiac critical care.
5+ years post-fellowship Attending experience in pediatric cardiac critical care preferred.
Virginia medical licensure or eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Provide senior clinical leadership and oversight for the PCICU.
Mentor physicians and advance quality and safety initiatives.
Balance 0.8 FTE clinical duties with 0.2 FTE administrative leadership.
