Job summary

Vanderbilt Health's Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) team in Nashville, TN.

You will collaborate with pediatric cardiac intensivists, surgeons, and nurses to care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart disease. We offer a high-acuity environment, opportunities for education, research, and professional development, with a night-shift, full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• CPNP-AC certification for NPs or NCCPA certification for PAs.
• Eligibility for Tennessee licensure and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health histories and perform physical examinations.
• Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Manage critically ill pediatric cardiac patients in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Order, interpret, and integrate diagnostic testing.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges.
