Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to perform pediatric echocardiography at the Burnet Campus, Echocardiology. You will prepare patients, perform exams (M‑MODE, 2D Doppler, Color Flow, 3D and strain), and provide results for faculty review.

The role requires an Associate’s degree, ARDMS certification, and 0+ years of experience; pediatric experience is preferred. Expect collaborative teamwork, on‑call duties, and potential involvement in research.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a related field.
• 0+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• ARDMS certification obtained during employment.
• Preferred: 1+ years of Cardiac Sonography experience.
• Preferred: pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound exams including M‑MODE, 2D Doppler, Color Flow Mapping, 3D and strain.
• Report results to faculty; analyze data, prepare preliminary written report, and maintain records. Assist with research as needed.
• Maintain equipment by cleaning scan heads and EKG leads per infection control guidelines.
• Share knowledge, provide technical support, and assist with on‑call duties for Neonatal External Intensive Care Units and training.
• Participate in clinical research; measure/analyze echocardiographic data and present findings.
