Job summary

Duke Health in Durham, NC is seeking skilled cardiac sonographers to perform routine and advanced echocardiography across multiple sites and shifts. Eligible Pediatric Cardiac Sonographers may receive a $15,000 commitment bonus paid in four installments and relocation assistance up to $8,000 for those moving to Durham, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography.
• ARDMS/CCI certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine echocardiograms across sites and shifts, including call coverage.
• Assist physicians with echocardiography guided studies and complex procedures.
• Prepare preliminary reports and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide education and supervision to students, fellows, and staff.

Education

Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification

ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography

ARDMS/CCI certification within 18 months of hire
