Qualifications
Must have experience performing ECGs in a clinical setting.
Experience applying and scanning Holter Monitors is required.
Working with children is preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform 15-Lead ECGs and specialty ECGs as ordered.
Place Holter Monitors, Event Recorders, and 24-Hr Blood Pressure Monitors.
Educate patients and families about procedures.
Coordinate with teams to ensure smooth testing flow.
Document all patient logs and test results accurately.
Train and teach other healthcare professionals on devices.
Skills
Knowledge of ECG and Holter Monitor scanning
Knowledge of systems utilized with Holter Monitors and Event Recorders
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to identify and recognize arrhythmias
Ability to work on call as needed
Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D
