Job summary

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) seeks a Technologist I responsible for cath lab equipment operation, quality assurance, and radiographic tests. This role sets up and assists with cardiac catheterization procedures and collaborates with the care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care.

Education must include graduation from an accredited Radiology or Cardiovascular Technology program, with ARRT and CRT certifications; BCLS current and CA fluoroscopy permit.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience preferred.
• 1 year Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Displays flexibility, ability to work odd shifts as workload demands.
• Patient care equipment (monitors, BP cuff, EKG, warming device, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operate radiology equipment and perform QA tests.
• Set up and assist with cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cath lab equipment and supplies.
• Collaborate with health care team to deliver patient-centered care.
