Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma seeks a Pediatric Cardiovascular Technologist for the Mary Bridge Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab. You will assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures for infants, children and adolescents, serving scrub, circulator and recording roles.

The role requires graduation from an accredited cardiovascular tech or radiology program, active radiologic or invasive cardiovascular certification, and strong knowledge of congenital heart

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or radiology program.
• Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist certification or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.
• Current RCIS or ARRT certification or commit to obtain within 6 months.
• PALS preferred (or obtained within 6 months).
• At least one year of diagnostic/interventional radiology experience.
• Pediatric cath lab experience in a tertiary or quaternary care center.
• Strong knowledge of congenital heart disease and pediatric hemodynamics.
• Familiarity with ECMO and hybrid OR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cath lab environment, ensuring safety and infection control.
• Assist physicians in invasive cardiac procedures (diagnostic cath, angioplasty, device placement).
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging and monitoring equipment (fluoroscopy, IVUS, ICE, 3D mapping).
• Acquire and interpret hemodynamic data; perform blood work analysis.
• Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, including transport and monitoring.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
