Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking BE/BC Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology physicians to join a growing program serving pediatric and adult congenital heart patients. The role includes anesthesia for pediatric cardiac surgeries and cath lab procedures, with a standard 8-hour shift and 1:3 call requirements.

Applicants should have an MD/DO, completed Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship, ABA board certified, and at least three years of relevant pediatric

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree or equivalent and board certified in Pediatric Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship completed in pediatric cardiothoracic anesthesia; ABA board certification required.
• Experience in pediatric cardiac anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgeries and related procedures (cardiac, general, ENT, GI, etc.).
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation for pediatric patients undergoing surgery or diagnostic testing.
• Manage 4-5 cases per day with a focus on high-quality, safe perioperative care.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support staff; participate in on-call rotation (1:3).
