Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in Florida invites applications for a fellowship-trained pediatric BMT physician within the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute (CBDI).

The successful candidate will join a growing transplant team and have opportunities for collaboration across departments within the Johns Hopkins system, including potential faculty appointment with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. St. Petersburg, FL.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Fellowship and/or post-training experience in Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Florida.

Responsabilités

• Provide pediatric hematology/oncology care and BMT services.

About the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute (CBDI)

The CBDI is a dynamic, multidisciplinary institute comprising the Divisions of Hematology, Oncology, and Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Our team includes:

• 26 faculty members, including four basic science researchers
• Pediatric hematologist/oncologists, BMT specialists, and transfusion medicine experts
• Advanced practice providers and research scientists
• Integrated clinical, translational, and basic research programs
• ACGME Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
• Blood and Marrow Transplant Fellowship – 1 year
• Neuro-Oncology Fellowship – 1 year

The BMT Division provides comprehensive care for children and young adults with malignant and non-malignant hematologic and immunologic disorders. The program delivers both autologous and allogeneic transplants, with particular expertise in haploidentical transplantation, gene therapy, and CAR T-cell therapy—positioning JHACH as a leader in cellular and gene-based therapeutics in the southeastern United States.

Position Summary

This individual will join a growing team of transplant physicians and allied professionals in a division poised for substantial expansion in both clinical and research domains. The successful candidate is eligible for a faculty appointment with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and will have opportunities to collaborate across departments and campuses within the broader Johns Hopkins system.

• Fellowship and/or post-training experience in Blood and Marrow Transplantation, with a commitment to clinical excellence in an academic setting
