Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Behavioral Health Consultant to provide pediatric behavioral health services within a team-based care model. You will conduct screenings, risk assessments, and deliver evidence-based therapies to patients and families in the Milwaukee area.

The role includes consultation with the care team, coordination with schools and community partners, and support for learners and staff on behavioral health interventions.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field with substantial supervised experience.
• Licensed provider with 2+ years post-licensure in pediatrics may be considered with 3,000 hours.
• Trauma-informed, culturally responsive care required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mental and behavioral health screenings, risk assessments, and evaluations.
• Provide evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions and goal-directed therapy.
• Offer consultation and education to the care team and community partners.
• Coordinate higher levels of care, referrals for individual/group/family therapy as needed.
• Collaborate with schools and community partners for continuity of care.
