Job summary
Healing Haven in Madison Heights is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or LLP/TLLP to evaluate children and adults for autism and related disorders. The role emphasizes ADOS-2 usage, psychometric testing, and comprehensive reporting within an interdisciplinary clinic.
The ideal candidate holds Michigan licensure, pediatric assessment experience, and strong collaboration with schools and medical teams to support families through feedback sessions and integrated care plans.
Qualifications
- Active licensure and state certification for Michigan
- Experience evaluating pediatric populations
- Experience administering the ADOS-2
- Proficiency with cognitive, developmental, and adaptive assessments
- Strong collaboration and communication with families and teams
- Proficient with EMR systems and maintaining confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with medical providers and schools; review records
- Conduct structured parent or caregiver interviews
- Perform direct observations as part of the evaluation
- Administer cognitive, adaptive, and developmental assessments
- Score and interpret assessments to determine autism or differential diagnoses
- Generate comprehensive clinical reports
- Provide feedback to families through reports and presentations
- Coordinate scheduling, authorizations, and billing with teams
- Provide supervision or consultation to Healing Haven’s interdisciplinary team
- Stay current with research and best practices
- Perform additional duties aligned with role goals
