Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a licensed audiologist to provide high‑quality, age‑appropriate care for patients from newborn to age 20, within established audiology standards. You will be part of the rehabilitation team, supporting safe patient care and a culture that puts people first—children always.

Responsibilities include diagnostic assessments, hearing aid services, counseling families, and supervising interns.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Must be able to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides diagnostic assessments, including behavioral audiometry, ABR, and central processing testing.
• Conducts hearing aid evaluations and fittings, and provides training in use.
• Counsels parents regarding hearing loss and communication options.
• Provides cochlear implant and bone-anchored device programming as assigned.
• Completes documentation meeting departmental standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Provides supervision to audiology interns as assigned.
• Supports Joint Commission readiness and includes family in care education.
