Job summary

Southernmed is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver outpatient pediatric care. You will assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients independently where licensure allows, collaborating with physicians to ensure quality care. Emphasis on education, patient communication, and compliance with clinical guidelines.

You will provide leadership in clinical settings, participate in continuing education, and contribute to a patient-centered team focused on families and communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina NP/PA licensure or eligibility.
• BLS/PALS certification required.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient visits within scope of practice and experience.
• Take histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Order and evaluate labs and diagnostics.
• Develop and implement treatment plans per guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians and work independently as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and confidentiality.
• Communicate with patients by phone regarding care and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.
