Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in San Antonio, TX. The role requires independent practice with EPIC EMR, and board certification in pediatric anesthesiology.

Call schedule is Monday–Friday, 5x8 hours, with a minimum 2 weeks of commitment. Texas license is required, with 7 operating rooms to support patient needs and a strong emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Active Texas medical license required and EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric anesthesiology services in a busy 7 OR environment.
• Adhere to facility call schedule (Mon–Fri, 5x8 hours) and provide 2 weeks minimum coverage.

• Call and requirements: Monday-Friday, 5x8 hour shifts; Need to offer 2 weeks minimum. Full time preferred.
• Supervision vs independent: Independent
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Certifications required: Board certification; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Number of operating rooms: 7
• License required or accepting IMLC: Active Texas license required
