Job summary

Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Pediatric Fellowship-trained, board-eligible/board-certified Anesthesiologist to join our expanding program. The role includes a 50-hour workweek with Monday–Friday 7am–5pm schedules and diverse case exposure in a high-volume pediatric/NEONATAL environment.

Qualifications

• Fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesia.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric anesthesia.
• Experience with pediatric ICU and neonatal cases preferred.
• Willingness to cover a 50-hour week and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients in the OR and across services.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and ASCs to ensure safe anesthesia delivery.
• Manage anesthesia in pediatric ICU surgical patients and neonatal cases.

Specifics of Your Role as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist

• 50 hours per week with hours of Monday thru Friday 7am - 5pm
• Scheduling office only - providers work in the operating room 100% of the time
• The call requirement includes weekdays, weekends and holidays that are statistically distributed equally among the providers
• Care will include Pediatric ICU surgical patients, elective pediatric patients and neonatal ICU patients
• This role will not do 100% pediatric patients as Parkview is not solely a pediatric hospital
• Opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases such as pediatric egd's, dental, general pediatric surgery and orthopedics, craniofacial, hernias, appys, ENT cases and thoracotomy's, OB

The Team

Our team consists of Anesthesiologists (including pediatric and CV fellowship trained physicians) and Anesthesiologist Assistants. The team cares for hundreds of patients each year in various specialty lines, including cardiovascular, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, endoscopy, obstetric, pediatric, neurosurgery and more. We serve patients at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Parkview Randallia Hospital, Parkview Southwest and Parkview Wabash. Highly productive anesthesia group with salary starting at $553,000!
