Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions partners with a Memphis hospital to recruit a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a Level I trauma center. The role features a 7:00 a.m. start with two possible shift lengths, no call, and involvement with 20 operating rooms.

Candidates should be board-certified, with DEA, and comfortable managing high-acuity pediatrics including neonates up to 6 months. Epic is used for the EMR; travel and lodging are provided.

Qualifications

• Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Schedule: 7a-3p or 7a-5p
• No call required
• 20 ORs
• Comfortable handling high acuity/sick pediatrics
• Treating neonatal (0-6 months)
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• DEA required

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric anesthesia in a Level I trauma center
• Manage high-acuity pediatric cases
• Care for neonatal patients (0-6 months)
• Possibly medical direction: 1:2; may perform own cases
