Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking pediatric-trained anesthesiologists to join our general anesthesia service and the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Services are provided at two tertiary hospitals and outpatient centers, with a team-based, teaching-focused model.

The position offers an academic or clinical track, board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology, and a strong emphasis on research and education in partnership with Emory University.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
• Residency in Anesthesiology.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within the respective clinical area in line with policies and procedures.
• Participates in quality improvement and research findings.
• Educates patients, families, and staff as needed.
• Mentors and supports trainees in medical decision making.
• Maintains accurate documentation and timely communication for patient care and reimbursement.
