Job summary

Integrative Emergency Services is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our Tucson program, providing full-time anesthesia care for pediatric and adult patients at Tucson Medical Center and Rincon Surgery Center. The role includes independent contractor (1099) status with a guaranteed base time and opportunities to expand base compensation through additional commitments.

The candidate must be BC/BE in Pediatric Anesthesiology with an active AZ license & DEA, and be prepared to work in

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Active Arizona medical license & DEA (or eligible to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric and adult anesthesia care at Tucson Medical Center and Rincon Surgery Center.
• Collaborate with CRNAs to ensure safe, efficient anesthesia delivery (1:3 ratio).
• Participate in high-complexity ASA 4/5 cases and neuraxial/nerve block techniques as needed.

Seeking full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist to care for both pediatric and adult patients at Tucson Medical Center and Rincon Surgery Center.

Anesthesia Services

• Care Team Model: Physicians are ensured 60% doing own cases with 40% CRNA Medical Direction (1:3 ratio)
• 33 total anesthetizing locations; 26 General ORs & 7 ORs dedicated for Cardiac, Peds and OB/Epidurals.
• Cases includes ENT, General, GI, GYN, Neuro, Surgical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Oral/Max, Orthopedics, Plastics, Pediatrics, Urology, and Major Vascular.
• Opportunity to expand clinical skills with ASA 4/5 cases: 10-OR orthopedic surgical floor with extensive opportunities for neuraxial anesthesia and all peripheral nerve blocks.
• Full Time is considered 42 weeks/year: 40-hrs/week. (Mon-Fri) (8, 10, or 12-hr. day shifts); option to expand base salary with addition and optional commitments.
• W2 Physicians are extended guaranteed pay for the entire shift scheduled, despite that O.R. time may end earlier.
