Children's National Hospital is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant to join the pediatric anesthesia team. The role focuses on implementing anesthesia plans under supervision, managing airways, administering medications, and supporting regional techniques to ensure safe perioperative care.

Qualifying candidates hold an MS in Anesthesia, have at least 1 year of pediatric care experience, and maintain CME credits. PALS certification is required upon hire.

Formación

• MS in Anesthesia from an accredited program (Required).
• CAAs must be certified and work under licensed anesthesiologists.
• PALS certification required at hire; CME credits current.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in anesthesia care plans under supervision of anesthesiologists.
• Preoperative data collection and physical assessments.
• Administer induction and maintenance drugs; manage airway and regional techniques.
• Ensure safe transition from OR to recovery and participate in teaching and research.
