Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• 6 months RN experience; 2+ years for Ambulatory Clinic RN PRN.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in ambulatory settings using nursing process.
• Performs preliminary patient assessments to guide follow-up.
• Evaluates complex patient conditions and initiates interventions.
• Applies clinical judgments and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains accountability for care provided and delegated tasks.
• Uses standards and resources to evaluate patient response.
• Identifies and addresses patient teaching needs.
• Educates patients and families about health care needs.
• Documents teaching effectiveness in the chart.
• Manages treatment-related calls and referrals.
• Completes forms (FMLA, DME, Home Health) with physician signatures.
• Maintains required clinical and technical competencies.
• Notes that duties may vary by department.
• Other duties as assigned.
