Job summary

The Cleveland Clinic Independence Family Health Center is seeking an RN in Ambulatory - Pediatrics to provide professional nursing care for children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. The role emphasizes growth, development, and family engagement.

Key duties include nursing assessments, triage, care planning, medication administration, CPR readiness, and collaboration with physicians across a regional network. BSN preferred with RN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of recent RN experience required.
• LPN/Medical Assistant or other unlicensed clinical experience may substitute for RN experience for current Cleveland Clinic caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
