Job summary

Boys Town National Hospital in Omaha, NE, seeks a physician specializing in allergy and immunology to provide direct patient care for hospital and referral patients and to participate in multidisciplinary teams.

The role includes research collaboration, teaching in medical education programs, and helping develop clinical program objectives. Board-certified allergist/immunologist with Nebraska licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Allergy and Immunology and medical licensure or eligibility in Nebraska.
• Be able to qualify for medical school faculty appointment in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and hospital staff privileges at BTNRH.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct allergy/asthma and immunology care to hospital patients.
• Serve as medical member of the multi-disciplinary evaluation/remediation team.
• Cooperate on clinical/basic research projects.
• Participate in and/or conduct educational programs in medicine, nursing, and related fields.
• Develop program objectives, sub-objectives, and staffing needs for the medical program.
• Undertake special projects as directed by leadership.
