This role involves performing procedures, ordering tests, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for patient rounds, documentation, and participation in research initiatives while adhering to state licensing and prescriptive authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing and NP credential or equivalent.
• 3 years nursing experience in critical care (ICU/CCU) required.
• NP license and prescriptive authority in the working state; DEA license.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients via history and physical examination; document in the chart.
• Order labs, imaging, and EKGs; follow up as appropriate.
• Write prescriptions/orders under protocols; collaborate with physicians.
• Provide patient care with the care team and consult as needed.
• Conduct rounds; document history, exam and care plans; discharge notes.
• Perform invasive procedures within advanced practice scope.
• Evaluate care quality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in research projects or publications.
