Job summary

CloudFactory is seeking a contract German language annotator to support EdTech content development. You will annotate grammar relevance, review vocabulary, and provide pronunciation corrections for German learning materials.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in German studies or linguistics, have native or near-native German (CEFR C1+), strong English skills, and experience evaluating educational content. Part-time, 10–20 hours/week, 4-week project with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in German studies, linguistics, education, or related field.
• Native or near-native German proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher).
• Advanced English proficiency (CEFR B2 or higher).
• Experience evaluating, annotating, or quality-reviewing educational content — EdTech or AI-assisted learning a plus.

Responsibilities

• Annotate grammar relevance and write grammar explanations for German learning content.
• Review taught vocabulary and synonym sets for accuracy and pedagogical fit.
• Provide pronunciation correction annotations.
• Revamp trial lesson insights and connect them to core grammar concepts.
• Draft lesson outlines for German learning content based on learner data.

• Revamp trial lesson insights and connect them back to core grammar concepts
• Draft lesson outlines for German learning content, informed by learner data

• Bachelor's degree or higher in German studies, linguistics, education, or a related field
• Solid grounding in German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
• Experience evaluating, annotating, or quality-reviewing educational content — EdTech or AI-assisted learning experience is a strong plus
• Native or near-native German proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher)
• Advanced English proficiency (CEFR B2 or higher)
