Job summary
WestLand in Tucson is seeking an Engineer to provide design and technical support for land development and water/wastewater projects. You will collaborate with project managers to deliver quality engineering solutions and mentor junior staff.
Required are a bachelor's degree in engineering, a PE license in Arizona (or eligibility), and at least four years of experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential; the role may involve some business development activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.
- PE license in Arizona or ability to obtain is required.
- Minimum four years of engineering experience.
- Experience with water/wastewater systems and municipal standards.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop water/wastewater improvement plans and master plans under PM direction.
- Prepare technical reports and engineering design plans.
- Use AutoCAD to design and draft plans; review with drafters.
- Assist with client coordination and business development.
- Oversee Jrs EITs and drafters; manage task budgets and schedules.
