Diocese of Tucson is seeking a part-time PE teacher for Santa Cruz School (K-8) in Tucson, AZ. The educator will coordinate athletic activities, integrate Catholic values, and promote healthy, active living within a faith-centered school community.
The ideal candidate will hold AZ teaching certification, a bachelor’s degree, and demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills, with willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Primary Function: Under the direction of the school principal is responsible for supporting the Diocese of Tucson in its mission to evangelize and catechize youth in a Catholic School environment. The PE Teacher/Athletic Director is responsible for coordination of all athletic activities of the school. The employee shall be a minister of the Gospel and Catholic Teaching both academically and behaviorally while at work and in his/her personal life, “Live in a manner worthy of the call you have received.” (Eph. 4:1)
Requires coordination and manual dexterity, normal mental and visual ability; ability to lift as required in a normal office environment.
