Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc partners with elementary schools across the Bay Area to offer after-school programs. Classes run Monday–Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with coaches typically teaching one hour per day and an optional 30 minutes of pre-care.

Pay ranges from $50–$65 per session. Programs use provided equipment. This part-time role requires in-person work, a valid TB test and Live Scan, and reliable transportation for duties such as attending training and visiting schools.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years old.
• Candidates must live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Experience in sports/coaching or working with kids is preferred but not required.
• Enjoys working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to undergo TB test and Live Scan background check.
• Must submit a photo and short biography to upload on our website.

Job Overview

Our programs are held at various elementary schools, Monday–Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. This is a part-time position where coaches typically teach one class per day (about one hour), with the possibility of an extra 30 minutes of pre-care. These sessions focus on creating a fun and energetic environment for younger and beginner-level children.

The pay ranges from $50–$65 per session, and all equipment is provided by us.

• Manage class size (8–16 students) and maintain a positive environment.


• Attend a 2-day training or shadowing session before starting.


• Equipment (provided by the company). (Coach should have reliable transportation)


• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents/school staff.


• Capture a few class photos for documentation.

• Must be 19+ years old upon application

• Experience in sports you are applying, coaching, or working with kids is preferred but not required

Programs are offered at multiple schools across the Bay Area. Candidates must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
