Job summary

Enterprise Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer (PE) to prepare design documents under supervision and collaborate with lead engineers and project managers on evaluation and design tasks.

The position requires a ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree, PE license, and 4+ years of relevant experience (3+ years with a master’s). Travel domestically and internationally may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience required; minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience required with a master’s degree in engineering.
• Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through a comprehensive background check.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically to project sites, both domestic and international.

Responsibilities

• Produces engineering plans, written technical specifications, engineering calculations, and cost estimates under the general supervision of a lead engineer.
• Performs project site inspections and data collection with minimal oversight, including periodic travel to project locations domestically and internationally.
• Communicates and coordinates directly with client, subcontractor, and vendor personnel.
• Produces computer-aided design (CAD) drawings while developing plan documents using standard techniques and procedures, applies company CAD standards, or collaborates with CAD drafters to provide direction.
• Develops and maintains technical capabilities under general supervision, learning and staying current with industry codes and standards.
• Pursues obtaining technical certifications related to company and department business lines, as discussed with supervisor.
• Assists and mentors level one engineers in developing technical capabilities.
• Assists in developing cost proposals for engineering designs and assessments.
